DESCRIPTION:
The Bisque Trousers are elasticated waist trousers featuring deep front pleats, slant pockets, and darts at the back. The fit is a high-waist, slightly dropped crotch, loose legs, and a slightly cropped ankle length. The silhouette is relaxed yet structured due to the lines created by the front pleats and pockets.

There are three views included in this pattern. View A has a tapered leg. View B has a wide leg. View C is shorts length.

MATERIALS:
This Bisque Trousers sewing pattern is designed for a wide range of woven fabric weights. Choose a lightweight fabric (3 to 4 oz/yd) for a breezy summer pant. Choose a medium weight fabric (5 to 7 oz/yd) for an everyday pant. Choose a heavyweight fabric (8 to 10 oz/yd) for a sturdy utility pair that will hold the structured lines of the pleats and wear well with age.

See the fabric requirement charts image. Keep in mind you may need more if you choose to pattern match or lengthen the trousers, which are drafted for a 5’ 6” tall person.
You will also need 2” heavy duty or non-roll elastic.

SKILL LEVEL:
The Bisque Trousers has an Intermediate level of difficulty. You will be sewing darts, pleats, slant pockets, and an elasticated waist.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Print at 100% scale to get accurate pattern piece sizing. Do not select “Fit to Page”. There are 3 options for printing the pattern pieces. You only need to select one option to get all the pattern pieces. More detailed printing instructions are on page 4 of the Instructions booklet.
